Job Description

Due to continuing expansion and internal staff promotion we need enthusiastic Mobile Hydraulic Hose Fitters for our new vans.


  • Attend callouts to various sites
  • Assessing hydraulic hose problems on varied machinery
  • Remove and replace hydraulic hoses
  • Manufacture hoses in van
  • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
  • Generate electronic sales dockets on site
  • Training Provided.


  • The ideal person will be/have:
  • Good fitting / mechanical skills
  • Ability to work with heavy tools
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
  • Ability to take direction
  • Great attention to detail
  • Fluent English (both verbal and understanding)
  • Good people skills and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers


  • Previous proven record as a fitter/mechanic/engineer
  • Worked on heavy machinery in previous employment
  • Hold a full EU Drivers License for minimum 12 months as well as an experienced driver

The Position

  • Hours: Monday to Friday + on call rota system
  • Contract: Full time permanent
  • Salary: Weekly basic + commission + overtime
  • Immediate start for the right person

Pay and Benefits

  • Earn from €40,000 up to €45,000 per year

Hose Doctor a leading hydraulic & industrial on site hose replacement specialist for the last 25 years are seeking a service co-ordinator. At Hose Doctor you will become part of a supportive team with open communication helping you to bring out the best of your abilities.

The Role

  • Effectively communicate and log breakdowns / orders
  • Maintaining effective communication with both internal and external “customers” keeping them informed and managing their expectations at all times.
  • Prioritising and scheduling work activities to your team of engineers on a moment to moment basis as the day rapidly changes
  • Providing accurate daily /weekly / monthly KPI’s to management and customers ensuring that services are delivered in line with customer’s requirements
  • Managing safety compliance and legislations
  • Monitor service requirements for the company fleet of vehicles


  • Radiate confidence in dealing with a fast paced environment.
  • To be able to build relationships and gain the co-operation of your team
  • Highly organised and target driven
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptable and open minded


  • Customer service in a fast paced environment
  • Previous co-ordination experience or team management
  • Previous daily use of computer software and packages
